We have just acquired a wonderful Brandenberg Quartz Point that Brad will be using to make a staff from.  Brandenberg Quartz is an amazing mixture of stones (Amethyst, Citrine, Smokey Quartz, Clear Quartz & Cacoxanite, we are lead to believe) that can range from clear to purple with deep Smokey quartz or Citrine (Yellow) inclusions.  These beautiful and very special quartz are from The Brandenburg Mountain range located in Namibia, Africa.  The highest mountain in these ranges is Brandenburg Mountain or as it is known to the locals and indigenous tribes people Dâures Mountain or Fire Mountain due to the amazing orange glow at sunset that Dâures takes on, it is also known as Omukuruvaro meaning mountain of the gods.  These mountains are famous for the many cave paintings dotted with in (Over 45000).  The most famous of these works is called “The White Lady” which actually contains no white lady at all. As Brandenberg Quartz is only available from this sacred area we feel this attributes to the Brandenberg’s amazingly high energetic properties.

Brandenberg Quartz are a stone of spiritual and physical alchemy.  The crystal allows you

to connect yourself to the Source, the all that is and allow you to bring that energy through into the physical world.  Brandenberg’s act like a cosmic anchor, and when travelling on shamanic Journey’s they will provide you with a deep core of energy, linking you firmly to the earth, ensuring that no matter what vibrational ladders you climb you will always be able to find your way home.  Brandenberg’s are particularly good at providing you with an object view point and the ability to retain information when travelling in realms where you may not always retain conscious awareness, such as dreaming.  The vibration of the Brandenberg Quartz induces brainwave patterns that enhance mediation and regression.

It is sometimes referred to as a gatekeeper stone, as in addition to it helping you easily traverse these realms it will always protect you, as it holds a light, and will always repel negativity and call light down around the Stone Sorcerer in whatever their work maybe.  One of the Brandenberg’s Quartz’s amazing abilities is to hold the light in a room or space, which is a wonderful thing when working with shadow work or in the underworlds.

When using Brandenberg Quartz in healing work remember that it is a stone that helps clear the heart chakra and open up the throat chakra allowing for clear communication from the heart to the world.  They are also wonderful vitality restorers and can have you from feeling low and run down to been up beat within seconds, it would be particularly useful for chronic fatigue or depression.

As a spiritual stone Brandenburg’s are very useful in restoring a person’s sense of self and can be wonderful aids when dealing with spiritual possession or entity removal, in fact the Brandenberg’s spiritual essence is all about restoration.  Restore self to self, your soul to your body after travelling and providing that restoring connection to the deep consciousness of the earth.

Brandenberg Quartz’s are still quite new and may be

hard to acquire, however they are well worth the effort to do so, and you might as well now while they are still affordable.
